Boat Owners in Seribu Islands Obligated to Provide Safety Equipments

Bad weather accompanied with 2-meter-high wave occurred in Seribu Islands sea. In fact,  Praja Utama III boat boarded by Deputy Mayor of Seribu Islands, Muhammad Anwar along with the entourage who was about to hold routine muster in Pramuka Island, Monday morning (12/14), almost slammed by wave.

Don't go sailing during bad weather, think about boat and passengers safety

Deputy Regent of Seribu Islands, Muhammad Anwar stated that because of the incident, his party appealed boat owners crossing to be careful and providing safety equipments during sailing.

"I remind helmsman to wear and provide boat safety equipments for passengers," he appealed, Monday (12/14).

23 Taxi Boats Meet Sailing Permit Requirement

He told that boats do not force to sail in bad weather. "Don't go sailing during bad weather, think about boat and passengers safety," he asserted.
